Explanation:

velocity when touch the ground

v^2=u^2 + 2as

=0 +2(-10) (-100)

v= √4000

v= 20√10 m/s. downward

Time taken

v=u+at

(-20√10) = 0 + (-10)t

t = 2√10 sec

Answer:

v=√2gh       (Velocity-Displacement relation for free falling body)

  =√2×10×100

  =20√5 m/s

h=1/2gt²      (Displacement-Time relation for free falling body)

100=1/2×10×t²

   t²=20

   t=√20=2√5 s
