a body remains unaccelerated if, and only if, the resultant force on it is zero... explain plzzz

Means there is no change in position so resultant is zero

Hii..
See..if no external force is applied the acceleration remains constant for sometime and then it is zero..
No force is applied so the body doesnt move further with with any acceleration ..as if force is zero the acceleration also becomes zero..(F=ma)..
