Hey Dear,

◆ Answer -

Total distance = 250 m

Displacement = 0 m

Average speed = 25 m/s

Average velocity = 0 m/s

● Explanation -

Time taken by the body to come back ground -

s = ut + 1/2 gt^2

125 = 0 × t + 1/2 × 10 × t^2

t^2 = 125 / 5

t = 5 s

Total time taken by the hody to return at point of projection -

Total time = 5 + 5

Total time = 10 s

Total distance travelled will be double the height.

Total distance = 2h

Total distance = 2 × 125

Total distance = 250 m

As the body comes back at the point of projection, displacement is zero.

Displacement = 0 m

Average speed is calculated as -

Average speed = distance / time

Average speed = 250 / 10

Average speed = 25 m/s

Average velocity is calculated as -

Average velocity = displacement / time

Average velocity = 0 / 10

Average velocity = 0 m/s
