A body starting from rest accelerates uniformly along a straight line at the rate of 10 m/s2 for 5 secs. It moves for 2 secs with a uniform velocity of 50 m/s. Then it retardes uniformly and comes to rest in 3 secs. Draw a velocity -time graph of the body and find the total distance travelled by the body

Draw the graph
Total area of the graph represent the total distance travels by the body
S1+s2+s3=1/2*10*5*5+2*50+1/2*50*3=125+75+75=275m
