vi=0m/s
a=20m/s
t=6sec
S=?
S=vit+1÷2at^2
S=0 (6)+1÷2 (20)(6)^2
S=1÷2 (20)(36)
S=0.5×20×36
S==360m

hope my answer helps u

Answer:

The Correct Answer would be 360 meter. The total distance traveled by the body in 6th second would be 360 meter.

Explanation:

Given: Acceleration of body(a) = 20 m/sec²

          As it started from rest, Initial velocity(u) = 0 m/sec

          Total time = 6 seconds.

To Find: total distance traveled in 6th second.

Now, we have to find the distance.

For this, we have to look upon newton's equation of motion.

The three popular equations of motions are:

  1. v = u+at
  2. s = ut+(1/2)at²
  3. v² = u²+2as

Now, we'll use the second equation for finding the desired answer.

Hence, u = 0, a = 20 and t = 6

Putting values in the equation:

              s = (0×6) + (1/2)(20×6²)

                 = (1/2)(720)

              s = 360 meter

Hence, distance traveled would be 360 meter.
