A body starting from rest starts running and attains a velocity of 6 meters per second in 30 sec and then he slows down uniformly to 4meter per sec in the next 5 second calculator acceleration in Both case​

Answer:-

a = 0.2m/s²

a = -0.4m/s²

Given:-

u = 0 m/s

v = 6m/s

T = 30 s

To find :-

The accelerated in both cases :-

Acceleration :- The rate of change of velocity is known as acceleration.

From definition, we have

 a = \dfrac{v-u}{t}

a = \dfrac{6-0}{30}

a = \dfrac{6}{30}

a = 0.2m/s^2

Now, it's speed be slow down

then in this case

u = 6 m /s

v = 4 m/s

T = 5s

Now, in this case deceleration will be produced.

a = \dfrac{4-6}{5}

a = \dfrac{-2}{5}

a= -0. 4m/s^2

The negative accelerated shows that body is retarded.
