a body starting from rest travel with uniform acceleration. If it travels 100m in five seconds. what is the value of acceleration ​

Answer:

Here , u = 0 m/s , s = 100 m , t = 5 sec

now,

s = u x t + 1/2 x a x t^2

100 = 0 + 1/2 x a x (5 x 5)

a = 100 x 2/(5 x 5)

a = 8 m/s^2

so value of acceleration will be : 8 m/s^2
