Your answer
--------------------

Initial velocity = u = 0 m/s [Because the body is starting from rest.]

Distance travelled = s = 100 m

Time = t = 5 seconds

Acceleration = a = ?

Using formula : - s = ut + 1/2 × a × t²

=> 100 = (0 × 5) + 1/2 × a × (5)²

=> 100 = 0 + 25/2 × a

=> a = (100 × 2)/25

=> a = 8 m/s²
