Given:-

  • Initial velocity ,u = 10m/s

  • Time taken,t = 60 s

  • Final velocity , v = 250m/s

To Find:-

  • Acceleration ,a

  • Distance covered ,s

Solution:-

As we know that Acceleration is defined as the rate of change of velocity at per unit time.

• a = v-u/t

Substitute the value we get

→ a = 250-10/60

→ a = 240/60

→ a = 4m/s²

Therefore, the acceleration of body is 4m/s².

Now , Calculating the distance Covered

Using 3rd equation of motion

• v² = u² +2as

Substitute the value we get

→ 250² = 10² + 2 × 4 ×s

→ 62500 = 100 + 8×s

→ 62400 = 8×s

→ s = 62400/8

→ s = 7800m

→ s = 7.8 km

Therefore, the distance covered by the body is 7.8 Kilometres.
