Using s=ut+1/2at²

put U=0 we have

distance at time t=1, s=a/2

distance at time t=2,s=2a

distance at time t=3,s=9a/2.

vaidheeshbharad: Why is u 0 all the time?
vaidheeshbharad: Cause the body has gained velocity after each second as it is accelerating
vaidheeshbharad: please answer this question
vaidheeshbharad: Because this is what I really want it know
siddu5494: u=0 because body has started to follow from rest at the starting point so
vaidheeshbharad: But then u is unequal to zero after acceleration right?
siddu5494: u is not equal to zero when time is greater than 0 sec. but we must consider the value of u at time 0 sec only...
vaidheeshbharad: ok
vaidheeshbharad: thanks a lot

 hence the answer is  1:4:9

hope it helped
