A body starts from rest and acquires a velocity of 12 m/s in 5s. calculate the accelaration and the distance travelled.​

Solution-

U(initial velocity)=0

T(time)=5sec

V(final velocity)=12m/s

Thus acceleration=v-u/t

12m/s/5s= 2.4m/s²

Distance = ut+(at²/2).

Third equation of motion

=. 0+(2.4m/s²×25s²)/2

= 1.2m×25

= 30m
