Applying s = ut+1/2at^2
For the 1st second
s = 1/2at^2
s = 1/2 x a
For the 2nd second,
s = 1/2 a x 4 = 2a
For the 3rd second,
s = 1/2 x a x 9 = 4.5a
ratio = 1:4:9
∴ ratio = =
