Given :

  • Initial velocity (u) = 0 m/s
  • Acceleration (a) = 4 m/s
  • Distance Traveled = 8m

Solution :

Use 3rd equation of motion, as we are provided with the initial velocity, acceleration as well as distance traveled.

➠ v² - u² = 2as

⇒v² - 0² = 2 × 4 × 8

⇒v² - 0 = 8 × 8

⇒v² = 64

⇒v = √(64)

⇒v = 8

\therefore Final Velocity is 8 m/s

\implies

According to question

Given :-

Initial Velocity of Body=0 m/s

Acceleration of Body =4 m/s square

Distances travelled by Body =8 m.

To find :-

Velocity of body after covered 8m.

Now,

Solution:-

By using Third Law of Motion

v {}^{2} - u {}^{2} = 2as \\ v {}^{2} - 0 {}^{2} = 2 \times 4 \times 8 \\ v {}^{2} = 64 \\ v = \sqrt{64} \\ v = 8m \: per \: second

Therefore the required answer will be 8m/s.
