To Find :

  • v = ?

Solution :

Using the second equation of motion :

⇒ s = ut + ½at²

⇒ 10 = 0*t + ½*2*t²

⇒ 10 = 0 + t²

⇒ t² = 10

⇒ t = √10

⇒ t = 3.16 s

Using the first equation of motion :

⇒ v = u + at

⇒ v = 0 + 2*3.16

⇒ v = 6.32 m/s

Hence, the final velocity of the body = 6.32 m/s.
