ANSWER:- 1.62m/s2

Explanation:

because the body starts from rest the initial velocity will be zero

U=0

V=35km/h =9.72m/s [given]

T=6 sec [given]

we have to find acceleration

formula

V=U+AT

where A is acceleration

= 9.72=0+6A

=9.72÷6 = A

=A= 1.62m/s2

thus acceleration of the body is 1.62m/s2

The acceleration of the body is 0.97m/s².

Given:

A body starts from rest and speeds up to 35 km/ h in 6 seconds.

To Find:

The acceleration of the body.

Solution:

To find the acceleration of the body we will follow the following steps:

As we know,

The relation between initial velocity, final velocity, acceleration and time is given by the formula.

v = u + at

Here,

u = 0 m/s

v = 35km {h}^{ - 1}  =  \frac{35km \times 1000}{1km}  \times  \frac{1h}{1h \times 3600sec}  =  \frac{350}{36}  = 9.72m/s

Now,

acceleration =  \frac{v}{t}  =  \frac{9.72}{10}  = 0.97m/s²

Henceforth, the acceleration of the body is 0.97m/s².
