Given :

  • Acceleration,a = 20 m/s²
  • Initial velocity,u = 0 m/s
  • Distance,s = 10 m

To Find :

Velocity of a body after travelling a distance of 10m

{\purple{\boxed{\large{\bold{Formula's}}}}}

Kinematic equations for uniformly accelerated motion .

\bf\:v=u+at

\bf\:s=ut+\frac{1}{2}at{}^{2}

\bf\:v{}^{2}=u{}^{2}+2as

and \bf\:s_{nth}=u+\frac{a}{2}(2n-1)

{\underline{\sf{Answer}}}

From the third equation of motion,we have

\sf\:v{}^{2}=u{}^{2}+2as

Put the given values then ,

\sf\implies\:v{}^{2}={0}^{2}+2\times20\times10

\sf\implies\:v{}^{2}=0+40\times10

\sf\implies\:v{}^{2}=400

\sf\implies\:v=\sqrt{400}

\sf\implies\:v=20ms{}^{-1}

Hence,the velocity of a body is 20 m/s.

✯✯ QUESTION ✯✯

A body starts from rest has acceleration of 20m\s².Calculate its velocity after travelling a distance of 10m ..

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

✰✰ ANSWER ✰✰

\longmapsto\tt{Initial\:Velocity(u)=0m/s}

\longmapsto\tt{Acceleration(a)=20{m/s}^{2}}

\longmapsto\tt{Distance\:travelled(s)=10m}

\longmapsto\tt{Final\:Velocity(v)=?}

Using 3rd Equation : -

\longmapsto\tt{\small{\boxed{\bold{\bold{\green{\sf{{v}^{2}-{u}^{2}=2as}}}}}}}

Putting Values : -

\longmapsto\tt{{v}^{2}-{(0)}^{2}=2\times{20}\times{10}}

\longmapsto\tt{{v}^{2}=40\times{10}}

\longmapsto\tt{{v}^{2}=\sqrt{400}}

\purple\longmapsto\:\large\underline{\boxed{\bf\blue{v}\pink{=}\red{20}}}

So , The final velocity is 20m/s...
