So,in first 2 sec, u=0(intial velocity)

So, s= 0+0.5a(4)=2a

Now for next 2 sec the final velocity of first 2 sec become intial velocity of next 2 sec

So,

V=u+at=0+2a=2a

Now for next to sec, u =2a

s=2a(2)+0.5a(4)

s=6a
