distance covered in 1sec square= 2m

1sec square = 1x1

distance covered in 1sec= 2m

distance covered in 2sec=2sx2m

                                         =4m

s = ut +  \frac{1}{2} at {}^{2}

where a is the distance, u is the initial velocity, a is acceleration and t is time.

so we have

u = 0 (since the body was at rest)

t = 2 sec

a = 2m/s^2

So we have  Distance :-

(0 \times 2) +  \frac{1}{2}  \times 2 \times  {2}^{2}  \\\\\\  = 0 +  {2}^{2}  \\\\\\  =  {2}^{2} \\\\ = 4
