where a is the distance, u is the initial velocity, a is acceleration and t is time.
so we have
u = 0 (since the body was at rest)
t = 2 sec
a = 2m/s^2
So we have
distance=

by using the formula..
s=ut+1/2*at²
s=ut+1/2*at²
