the expression is v=u+at

step by step explaination

since a=constant

acceleration is given by

a=change in velocity with time

a=v'-v/t'-t

v'=v+a(t'-t)

let u be the velocity at t=0 (initially) and then at time t velocity is v

u=v+a(0-t)

u=v-at

v=u+at

v = u+at  is the expression for 'final velocity'
