initial velocity u = 0.5 m/s

acceleration ,a= -0.05 m/s²( due to frictional force)

final velocity v= 0

time taken = ?

since we know that from Newton's first equation of motion

v= u+ at

at = v- u

t= v-u/a

t= 0-0.5/-0.05

t= 10 sec
