a body starts with an initial velocity of 10m/s west and an average velocity of 16m/s towards West. Find its final velocity and displacement if the time taken to reach it destination is 10 second. ​

average vel. (V av) = 16 m/s

time (t) = 10 s

  • Since. V av =. total distance

total time

distance traveled. = V av × total time

= 16 × 10

= 160 m

In this case, distance traveled and displacement is same .

So, displacement = 160m

After reaching final destination , the body will stop. So its final vel. (v) = 0 m/s
