A body startsmoving with velocity 20 m/s with a constant deceleration of 5 m/S^2. Find the distance and displacement of particle after 10 sec of motion.

initial \: velocity  = 20 \:  \frac{m}{s}  \\ acceleration =  \frac{- 5m}{ {s}^{2} }  \\  \\ using \: 2nd \: equation \: of \\ uniformly \: motion. \\  \\ s = ut +  \frac{1}{2}a {t}^{2}   \\  = 20 \times 10 +  \frac{1}{2}  \times  - 5 \times 100 \\  = 200 + ( - 250) \\  =  - 50 \: metres
