Step-by-step explanation:

if it is thrown vertically upward then

v = 0

u = 20m/s

g = -9.8m/s²

t = ?

v = u+gt

0 = 20 -9.8m/s²

-20 = -9.8m/s² t

-20/-9.8 = t

2.04 sec = t

first we have to find the height so

s = ut+1/2 gt²

s = 20*2.04 +1/2 * -9.8 * 2.02 *2.04

61m

now... t = 2.04 sec (now returning to ground so g = positive)

u=0

g = 9.8m/s²

h= 61m

v =?

so.. 2gh= v²-u²

2*9.8*61 = v²-0²

1195.6 = v²

34.577 ² = v²

34.58 m/s is the answer...

thank you

hope it helps ❤️❤️

Answer:

20 m/s

Step-by-step explanation:

Note :

If you throw any object vertically upwards with a certain velocity, it comes down with the same velocity.

Here,

A body is thrown with velocity of 20 m/sec, It would come down with velocity 20 m/s

Hope it helps!
