A body thrown vertically upward rise up to height H, and comes back to the intial position. Find:1) total distance travelled by the body. ii) the displacement of the body.

1) total distance travelled = H+H =2H
2)displacement = 0
because displacement is the straight line distance between starting and end points and in this case both starting and end points are same so displacement is zero
