A body thrown vertically upwards reach a maximum height h and comes back down , what is the distance and displacement of the object

Answer:

distance: 2h ( because distance is total path covered and here the ball reaches the height h and comes back down the same height h , therefore h+h=2h)

displacement: 0. ( because displacement is distance between initial and final position and here both the positions are same)
