Answer:

√2 Meters

Explanation:

Radius of the circular path = 1 m

distance covered = 3π/2  ....(circular manner)

Thus angle made at center is equal to measure of arc

Central angle => 3π/2 = 270 deg

The displacement is the length of the chord and not the complete circumference of the circle ....(Refer the image attached)

Thus the length of the chord = displacement  of the body

270 deg + 90 deg = 360 deg ...(Complete circle)

Thus in ΔABC ,

AB and BC are the radii of the circle while ,  AC is the hypotenuse

AC is the displacement of the body ...!

Angle between AB and BC is 90 deg, thus ΔABC is right angled triangle

By pythagoras Theorem

(AC)^2 = (AB)^2+(BC)^2

           = (1)^2 + (1)^2

           = 1 + 1

AC      = √2 m

Thus the displacement of the object = √2 meters

IF YOU THINK I WAS CORRECT THEN SURELY MARK THE ANSWER AS THE BRAINLIEST ANSWER {^_^}
