Given :-

  • Distance travelled in first 2s = 20cm
  • Distance travelled in next 4s = 30cm

To find :-

  • Initial velocity = ?

Solution :-

Here the body is travelling 20cm in first 2s . Since it is travelling in first 2s . So it is the initial velocity .

Now , as we know that

Speed = Distance/Time

=> Speed = 20/2

=> Speed = 10cm/s

Hence, initial speed = 10cm/s
