Since there is no information about any change in the direction of the object therefore we can also assume it to be velocity of the object here.

Velocity (v) = \frac{24}{3.10^{-2}}

Kinetic Energy = \frac{1}{2}mv^{2}

                       = 1/2 . 20 . 8.10^2

                      = 8 x 10^{3} J
