a body travels a distance of 3 kms towards east,then 4 kms toward north nd finally 9 kms toward east. what is the total distance travelled? what is the result and displacement?

Hi ...dear...here is your answer......
...let body be start form origin O and goes 3 towards east at point A ,when he Traver 4 km towards east reaches at point B .,after traveling 9 km towards east he reachs at point Ç ........as we know that displacement is know as minimum distance between intial position and final position ........
So we have to find distance OC....here is OC is negative!!..
