radius=60cm=0.6m

Average velocity = displacement/time
displacement=diameter=2*radius=2*0.6=.1.2m
Average velocity=1.2/20=0.06m/s

Average Speed = distance/time
distance=(1/2)*circumference [ here we're using 1/2 because it only travels half of the revolution]
circumference=2*π*r=2*(22/7)*.6=3.771m
distance=(1/2)*3.771=1.886m
Average speed=1.886/20=0.0943m/s

Answer:

Answer

radius=60cm=0.6m

Average velocity = displacement/time

displacement=diameter=2*radius=2*0.6=.1.2m

Average velocity=1.2/20=0.06m/s

Average Speed = distance/time

distance=(1/2)*circumference [ here we're using 1/2 because it only travels half of the revolution]

circumference=2*π*r=2*(22/7)*.6=3.771m

distance=(1/2)*3.771=1.886m

Average speed=1.886/20=0.0943m/s

Thanks..
