· A body travels along a circular path of radius 70 m. After travelling halfa revolution in
20 s, find the
(i) average velocity,
(ii) average speed.​

Answer:

the radius of the circular path (r) = 70 cm

the body travels half of the circumference

so , the distance covered by the body (d) =\pir = 22/7 * 70 = 220 cm

also, the displacement of the body is (s) =2d = 2*70 = 140 cm

hence, the average velocity is =s/t =140/20 = 7 cm/sec

similarly, the average speed is = d/t =220/20 = 11 cm/sec
