A body travels from A to B at 25 m/s and from B to
A at 50 m/s, then its average speed will be
(b) 37.5 m/s

here is the process

initial velocity(u)=25m/s

final velocity (v) =50m/s

average velocity=v+u/2

=25+50/2m/s

=75/2m/s

=37.5m/s

thank youu

Answer:

(d) 33.3m/s.

Explanation:

1. let distance between A and B be x.

2. A->B speed is 25 m/s.

and from B-> A speed is 50 m/s .

3. then for A->B time = x/25

4. for B->A time = x/50

5. average speed

= total distance /total time

6. average speed = 2x /(x/25)+(x/50)

7. on calculating we get

answer = 33.3 m/s
