40 m/s and from B to A 60m/s Calculate

Explanation:

1)Average speed:-

Let distance be d so total distance will be 2d(As body comes back)

And ,

As distance is d we can calculate time by using --- Time=Distance by time

Time while going=d/40 and while coming d/60

Average Speed= Total distance/Total time

=2d/((d/60)+(d/40))

=2d/(5d/120)

=240d/5d=48m/s

2) Average Velocity:-

As there is no displacement there is no velocity---------Object returns to initial place

So, Velocity will be 0m/s
