Answer:

Distance between A and B = 300m

Time from A to B = 20s

Time from B to A = 10s

Average speed= Total Distance travelled/Total. time taken

Average speed= 300+300/20+10

Average speed=600/30

Average speed=200m/s.

Answer:

Hence, the average speed of the body is 22.5 km/hr.

Step-by-step explanation:

From point A to B

Given, Distance travelled = 300 m

and, Time taken = 20 s

Hence, Speed (V1) = 300 / 20

= 15 km/hr

From point B to A

Given, Distance travelled = 300 m

and, Time taken = 10 s

Hence, Speed (V2) = 300 / 10

= 30 km/hr

Average speed = V1 + V2 / 2

= 15 + 30 / 2

= 45 / 2 = 22.5 (ans).
