on earth f=GMm/r²
=100 kgf
so m and G are constant
f is directly proportional to M and 1/r²
on Mars M becomes M/10 and r becomes r/2
so substituting
(M/10)÷r²/4
M/10*4/r²
2/5Mr²
so force becomes 2/5 of 100 kgf
that is 40kgf
=100 kgf
so m and G are constant
f is directly proportional to M and 1/r²
on Mars M becomes M/10 and r becomes r/2
so substituting
(M/10)÷r²/4
M/10*4/r²
2/5Mr²
so force becomes 2/5 of 100 kgf
that is 40kgf
