A body weighs 27 N in air, when immersed fully in water it displaces 600 cm^3 of water. Calculate the weight of the body when fully immersed in water. (g = 9.8 m/s)

Answer:

Weight of water displaced by an object :-

600g (1cm^3=1 gram)

Amount of buoyant force =amount of water displaced by an object

9.8×0.6 =5.88N

Weight of body in water= weight in air - buoyant force

=>27-5.88=21.12
