A body weighs 5.6kgwt on the surface of the Earth.How much will be it's weight on a planet whose mass is 1/7th mass of the Earth and radius twice that of Earth's radius.​

Acceleration due to earth's gravity = g

Acceleration due to unknown planet's gravity = g'

g' = GM'/R'²

= G (M/7) / (2R)²

= GM/(28 R²)

= g/28

Mass of body = 5.6 / g

Weight of body on unknown planet

= mg'

= 5.6/g × g/28
