A body weighs 63 N on the surface of the earth. What is the gravitational force on it due to the earth at a height of 3200Km from the earth surface? ( Radius of the earth is 6400 km)

63=m*10

m=6.3

At a height h=3200km

acc. due to gravity becomes g'

g'=g/[1+h/Re]

g'=10/[1+3200/6400]

g'=20/3

Now, W'=mg'

W'=6.3*20/3

W'=42N
