Weight of the body on Earth = 90 kg

Therefore, mass of the body (m) = 90 kg

Mass on Mars = 1/9 m

Radius = ½ of that of Earth

Therefore, F = mg = m [G M/Re2]

F Mars/F Earth = m [G M/Re2] Mars/ m [G M/Re2] Earth

F Mars/90 kg = (M earth/9)/ (M earth) x (R Earth)e2/ (R Earth/2)e2 = 4/9

F Mars = 90 x 4/9 = 40 kg

Therefore, mass of the body on Mars is 40 kg.

The body weight is 90kg

so,the mass is 90kg

Mass of mars =1/9

Radius =1/2 of earth

F=mg=m(G M/Re 2)

F mars /F earth = m (G M / R e 2)mars/m (G M/R e 2)earth

F mars/90 kg =(M earth/9)/m earth *(r earth)e 2/{r earth /2}e 2
=4/9

=90*4/9

=>mass of mars =40kg
