here is your answer ,

Explanation:

weight on Earth surface 900gm = 90×9.8 ( Newtown) =882

acceleration due to gravity on the earth surface Gm/ R raise to power 2 ( m/m raise to power s) , where m is the mass of earth and R is radius

If mass of Mars is 1/9 of that of Earth and radius of Mars is 1/2 of that of Earth.

then acceleration , due to gravity on Mar's surface =4/9 GM/ R raise to power s

Hence , the weight of given body on the Mars surface= 90×9.8 ×(4/9) =392 Newtown = 40gm
