Hope it helps!!!!

1. relative density of body = relative density of body w.r.t water
= weight of body in air / weight loss of body in water
                                      = 40 / (40-36)
                                      = 40/4
                                      = 10

2. relative density of liquid = relative density of liquid w.r.t water
= relative density of body w.r.t water / relative density of body w.r.t liquid
= weight loss of body in liquid / weight loss of body in water
                                      = (40-36.4) / (40-36)
                                      = 3.6 / 4
                                      = 0.9

3. Volume of liquid can be anything. Just make sure the body completely immersed in the liquid.
