Answer:
Weight of body on earth = 700 N
mg = 700 N
m = 700/g = 700/10 = 70 Kg
Now,
Mass of Earth = M
Radius of Earth = R
so, g at earth = GM/R^2
Now,
Mass of other planet = M/7
Radius of other planet = R/2
g' at that planet = G(M/7)/(R/2)^2 = 4GM/7R^2
or, g' = 4g/7 = 4 ×10/7 = 40/7 m/s^2
So,
Weight of object on this planet = mg' = 70 × 40/7 = 400 N
