200 = mg ( m= mass= volume of body times density of body)
Density of water= 1 gm per cubic cm
Weight of water in air = 175gm
200 - (v*g*1) = 175 (where v = volume of body, g= acceleration due to gravity)
v= 2.5 cc
In a liquid it weighs 180 gm
So,
200 - (2.5*d*g) = 180  (where d = density of the liquid)
So solving it we get d = 0.8 gm per cubic cm.
