☆ SOLUTION ☆

Weight of the body in air =1000gf

Weight of the body in water =750gf

∴ (i) loss of weight of the body when immersed in water =1000gf−750gf=250gf.

(ii) upthrust of the body=loss in weight of the body =250gf.

(iii) upthrust =Vdg

⇒250gf×g=V×1gcm^{−3}×g

(density\:of\:water=1gcm^{−3} )

⇒volume\:of\:the\:body\:V=250cm^3
