m = 6 kg
p2 - p1 = m v2 - m v1 = 6 (5-3) = 12 kg-m/sec
Impulse is equal to change in momentum = 12 kg -m /sec
force = impulse / time duration = 12/2 = 6 N
p2 - p1 = m v2 - m v1 = 6 (5-3) = 12 kg-m/sec
Impulse is equal to change in momentum = 12 kg -m /sec
force = impulse / time duration = 12/2 = 6 N
