Let, g=9.8 m/s2

Using third equation of motion, we get

v^2=u^2+2as

or, v^2−u^2=2as

0−(14)2=2×a×40

So, a=−14×14/80=−2.45

Now, using the formula of coefficient of friction, we get

μ=a/g=2.45/9.8=0.25
