Answer:

It is given that,

u=10m/, v=0

t=2s

Now, From the first law of motion,

v=u+at

a=v-u/t

a=-10/2

a=-5m/

Explanation:

Hope it helps you

Answer: -5 m/s^2

Explanation: initial velocity (u) = 10 m/s

final velocity (v) = 0 m/s

time(t)= 2s

acceleration (a)= ?

now, v=u+at

0=10+2a

a= -5  m/s^2

since final velocity is 0, it is retardation ans acceleration is negative ( deacceleration).
