A bomb initially at rest explodes into several pieces . why is kinetic energy of the system not conserved? Explain in detail...

1.EXPLOSION OCCOURS WHEN ENERGY IS TRANSFORMED FROM ONE KIND eg:from chemical potential energy to kinetic enrgy or heat energy quickly. so like in inelastic collision total kinetic energy is not conserved during explosion
