By conservation momentum,

mass of bullet(m) *velocity of bullet (v)=-(mass of cannon(M)*velocity of cannon (V))

50*600=-(1000*V)

V= -30 m/s

here minus show that velocity of cannon is in opposite direction to the velocity of bullet
